Founded in 1938 by Carl Linder, Sr., UDF (United Dairy Farmers) is a staple in Cincinnati, Ohio to fill up your gas tank, grab a coffee, a hand dipped ice cream cone, or my favorite - a chocolate malt. The first store opened in 1940 in Norwood, Ohio with the draw being they sold milk for much cheaper in store than the typical milk delivery to your home. This milk crate is stamped with an 8 and a 64, which means it was manufactured in August of 1964. The container would hold 6 of the wide vintage milk jar sizes. Own this special piece of Cincinnati history!
Dimensions: 13.5x13.5x11.25" with dividers to fit 6 milk bottles
